Job Summary

Provide technical/analytical expertise and functional support in the area of Projects and Construction – Centralized Work Planning and Scheduling (CWPS), and functional analysis for processes and tools (e.g Access Estimating Tool and Compatible Units Tool, Weekly Schedule/ 18 month/5 year plan databases, Project Tracker Tool, Project Prioritizer Tool, SharePoint) . Support creation and analysis of Work Plans across all Electric Divisions, and determination of optimal utilization of Overhead, Underground, Engineering, Relay, and other Union activity types to meet base workload and adapt to special programs (e.g Energy Strong II, Clean Energy Filing), including decisions on use of in house or contractor resources. Maximize crew scheduling improvement opportunities, including evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies. Lead on CWPS presentation development for Senior Leadership and IBEW/OPEIU related to Activity Type optimization. Report and communicate weekly and monthly performance against Plan to Divisions and Senior Leadership. Support Asset Management and Planning sourced initiatives.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Broad Utility experience
• Developed proficiency with SAP, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Demonstrated analytical ability and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across departmental boundaries
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record

Desired
• MBA or Masters of Science Degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proven Proficiency with SQL
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Knowledge of PEER System in the Projects & Construction organization
• Familiarity with Mid-Month Reports for specific projects
