Position Title: Senior Analyst Ethics & Compliance

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Ethics & Compliance works closely with the Manager and other members of the Ethics & Compliance team to lead the company’s compliance program. The Senior Analyst oversees the various aspects of the compliance program including, but not limited to, preparing various reports, tracking of various compliance metrics, compliance training activities (content development, completion tracking), compliance education and outreach (communications, presentations, promotion campaign), researching regulatory requirements and other necessary duties. This position will also work closely with other internal departments.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update at least annually JetBlue’s Code of Conduct to ensure current and relevant and provide guidance to Crewmembers.
  • Manage the company’s policy framework, including creation, review, approval, and communication of new and revised corporate policies by working with policy owners and department leadership.
  • Complete due diligence processes for new and existing Business Partners of JetBlue.
  • Oversee the administration of JetBlue’s compliance risk assessment process, collaborating with business units to identify risks.
  • Develop and administer JetBlue’s annual Compliance training programs.
  • Maintain JetBlue’s regulatory compliance database.
  • Research regulatory requirements and ensure requirements are met for all locations JetBlue serves
  • Respond to and investigate reported questions and compliance issues, including but not limited to reports received through the Business Integrity Hotline.
  • Lead the development of education and training materials, and support compliance outreach efforts, including speaking engagements and drafting communications relating to compliance program activities.
  • Prepare materials for Policy Steering Panel and Audit Committee meetings.
  • Oversee relationship with Business Partners that support compliance program.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in a compliance, legal or internal audit environment.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform public speaking.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Strong analytical, research, and investigative skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Certification in compliance
  • Familiarity with USSG and anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and best practices.
  • Experience developing policies and procedures that impact multiple business units and international jurisdictions.
  • Experience in fraud prevention, third-party management, corporate communications, and training for a publicly traded company.
  • Ability to think objectively and use sound reasoning principles.
  • Ability to establish priorities, as well as perform routine tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to multitask by managing and coordinating multiple projects at the same time.
  • Detail oriented, and the ability to record, organize, and communicate detail.

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $65,800.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
