Our continued growth has created an immediate need for a Senior Architectural Designer located in Albany, NY.
The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise complex architectural projects for new and rehabilitation of building plans and designs
- Supervise and review specifications and drawings as submitted by Assistant Architects and design personnel
- Review technical work of consultants
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Confer with client agencies and contractors
- Supervise consultant work
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Architectural design, drafting and modifying Architectural drawings at all phases
- Reviewing design documents and construction estimates
- Assisting in coordination with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
- Researching products and materials
- Performing constructability reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college is required.
- 5-10 years U. S. experience in building design and construction document preparation is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Revit is required
- Proficiency with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino 3D Max or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Knowledge of International and Local Building Codes is a plus
- Strong conceptual, communication, planning and organization skills and capability of working both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks
