The WW APB Marketing Organization is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Art Director to lead work across Amazon Private Brands. This role is part of an internal creative team composed of designers, copywriters, productions designers, and brand managers that combine talent, expertise, and customer obsession to create compelling and memorable brands for products that customers love and prefer. They will be instrumental in the concept, creation, and production of our consumer-packaged goods (CPG) editorial content, driving innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences and deliver exceptional results.
The right candidate for this role will have a passion for brand/creative development and execution. They will contribute to key elements of a brand’s holistic vision, through visual identity and campaign creation across multiple channels, including paid media, organic assets, email, website, and more. They will have a proven track record of successfully art directing editorial shoots and designing for global brands. They will have a high degree of ownership and integrity; they will be strong problem solvers with the ability to think critically. They must be willing to continuously learn and keep up with the latest research trends.

Expertise at working with various design tools and willingness to embrace new design technology to improve speed of production whilst maintaining high quality standards is essential.
Key job responsibilities
• Build strategic and complex design solutions that present multi-disciplinary challenges and span across cross-functional teams
• Build team knowledge of best-in-class design practices and trends in multiple facets of design
• Present concepts and produced work to stakeholders and cross-functional partners, including senior management up to VP level
• Manage campaign art direction end-to-end (from concept to production)
• Identify emerging culture/design trends and digital innovations
• Develop and strengthen brand assets, including style and usage guides, across multiple and diverse categories, look to understand and translate data into insights that inform creative conceptual development
• Establish mechanisms and audit work to maintain consistent brand standards across all customer-facing touch points of marketing programs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in a creative & design role, at least 3 of which involve experience with brand design and art direction
– Strong proficiency in design/presentation and tools (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma)
– Work samples online or PDF, including at least 3 multi-component projects which demonstrate a dedication to high-quality creative, strategic vision, concept development, and high-quality production
– Fluency with digital art direction and production, including familiarity with post-production editing and retouching
– Detailed, hands-on experience with typography and image standards for web
– In-depth knowledge of design strategy and building brand experiences
– Excellent verbal and written skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centricity
– Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently
– Effective cross-team collaborator that delivers with agility across multiple, complex creative projects, while meeting deadlines
– Experience developing on- and off-site creative campaigns for e-commerce or Omnichannel (seasonal, event and/or brand led)
– Expertise in art direction, photo briefing, and on- and off-figure photography
– Knowledge of UX and front-end web design processes and best practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
