Seeking hybrid skillset of art director, designer and content creator
Job Description
Our creative team is looking for an experienced Senior Art Director with content creation skills, especially for TikTok. You will work with a copywriter, ideating and concepting social first content focused on our client’s sustainability and green energy initiatives. Experience with a corporate clients desired. Because we aren’t selling a product, per-se, our goal is to build a positive brand perception through social-first storytelling. You should know how to convert a corporate narrative into human-centric social content. You can distill complex scientific concepts into bite sized content for social.
We want someone who is passionate about social, is a power user for social, and who inherently cares about the social space and social being the lab for the future of media.
Core creative competencies: Idea concepting, presenting work, art direction, graphic design, storyboarding, video production, tactical content development for social platforms, writing for communication of ideas and concepts. Motion graphics a plus!
Types of work we create: Organic and paid social content, long and short-form videos, integrated campaigns, and more. You will report to a Creative Director.
Qualifications
We’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Graphic Design or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience art direction or content creation
- An idea person who likes to solve creative puzzles
- Experience presenting and selling ideas to clients
- An expert designer/creator across major social platforms, balancing best practices with brand guidelines
- An excellent collaborator who is a great team player
- Someone who likes to turn complex topics into tangible content (science! and geology! and molecules!)
- A leadership-minded person who can:
- Help guide our junior creative teams to bridge the gap between them and Creative Directors on daily work and provide creative and process guidance
- Be an ideation leader on the team and help nurture great thinking into sellable ideas and executions.
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$90,000/year.
