Job Description
LaSalle Network has partnered with a publicly traded, family owned CPG company in downtown Chicago to identify a Senior Associate Product Manager to join their team!
This newly created position will work very cross-functionally on implementing and managing the process of package design changes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience within product or project management for a CPG company. This role is a great fit for an individual with a passion for building a brand and getting into a company that promotes high upward mobility.
Senior Associate Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Work with Marketing, Operations, Procurement, R&D and Customer Service to successfully plan and implement all product and package changes
- Work with the design agency to develop impactful package designs and internal cross-functional team to commercialize new packaging and design changes
- Lead cross-functional team to execute new product launches from item setup through final customer delivery
- Assist team in development and update of selling materials, including packaging images, product sales samples, image management systems, selling sheets and customer presentations
- Act as single point of contact and coordinate with Sales, Operations and Customer Service to execute retail promotions and displays
- Work with Procurement and Manufacturing to assure that the correct materials are in place to meet forecasted demand
- Manage the customer complaint process for the division
Senior Associate Product Manager Requirements:
- 3-5 years of product or project management experience in CPG industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPG package design experience and agency management
- Experience working cross functionally with other departments and teams
- Prior experience researching current trends or topics related to package design
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Based in Chicago, IL
- Approximately 10% travel
