Design is a strategic function for PepsiCo to drive business value by creating experiences and brand engagements of which people deeply want to be a part. In partnership with the Business and R&D units, we’re applying this approach to our existing portfolio of brands and to an entire new platform of products yet to be born. We are one of the first major corporations to integrate different design disciplines-brand design, design execution, industrial design, design strategy, front-end innovation-into a single group.

The role
In this role, you will report to the Design Director of PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) on our Hydration team (Bubly, Life Watr, Aquafina) and collaborate with other Design & Innovation team members to drive design thinking from ideation thru concept development, refinement, and execution across media.
Responsibilities
- Creating high quality brand design solutions by directly executing design and leveraging internal/external design resources.
- Developing and/or revising design projects, from concept to production, for print and digital needs in consultation with the Brand Design lead and team
- Iterate on designs based on direction and feedback from Brand Design lead
- Design in alignment to evolving brand standards with emphasis on brand consistency
- Accurately produce brand assets/imagery
- Present design concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Quickly sketch ideas to create and communicate concepts
- Ideate and construct ideas within a team-based design environment
- Consistently meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of work while managing multiple projects
- Participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions and consistently use sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgment in developing and applying marketplace trends
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $74,800 -$125,300 based on a full-time schedule
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- 5 – 6 years studio experience as a multidisciplinary designer taking projects from concept through completion with focus in motion design
- Great sketching (digital and/or hand sketching) skills and idea development techniques to create and communicate concepts
- Flexibility to shift priorities in a fast paced and highly demanding environment
- Technically solid, able to illuminate ideas and visualize design stories across a variety of media
- Expert at Adobe Creative Suite programs
- Works well with others to deliver results; keeps others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises
- Social media-minded curator
- Brand design background and style guideline experience, 360 visual identity
- Strong typography and layout sensibility
