Overview:
The role Senior Business Systems Analyst (Oracle) is a functional expert in Oracle E-Business Suite. Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business systems solutions for Oracle’s R12 Financial Applications, Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Projects, Order Management, and Inventory modules. They work closely with business users to identify and understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure that the system meets the needs of the organization. This role reports to the Business Systems Manager.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Serve as liaison between business constituents and internal IT teams to provide support of existing systems and translate business concepts and requirements into software solutions and roadmaps.
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders, document them, and translate them into technical specifications
- Design customized solutions to meet business requirements using E-Business Suite (EBS) modules
- Configure EBS applications to meet business requirements, including setup of new modules, workflows, forms, and reports
- Test and validate the system to ensure it meets the business requirements and provide support for user acceptance testing
- Provide ongoing support for the production environment, including issue resolution, system maintenance, and upgrades
- Document system changes, user procedures, and system configuration and provide training to end-users
- Seeking out and implementing continuous process improvement opportunities
- Build and sustain working relationships with all functional areas
- Ensuring accurate and efficient governance policy development and adherence
- Report on statuses when requested
- Maintain good standing and completion on all compliance related matters (i.e., assigned mandatory trainings, actions required from audits, corporate policies, etc.)
- Perform all additional duties and responsibilities based on the direction and guidance of supervisor
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent problem-solving skills, current knowledge of technology and the ability to be a constant learner
- Data and detail-orientated, high degree of accuracy
- Participates in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including requirements gathering, design, configurations, creating and executing test cases and analyzing results.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs
- Oracle R12 Financial Applications, Procurement (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Projects (PA), Order Management (OM), and Inventory modules experience preferred
- Basic SQL query development skills
- Ability to operate with a customer-centric service approach
- Ability to manage and work on multiple concurrent deliverables at various stages of development and completion
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among teams
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Professional level verbal and written communication skills

Working Environment/Safety Requirements:
- Ensure necessary working environment and capabilities to effectively carry out responsibilities if working from a non-AUS location (remote work)
- Ability and willingness to handle work related issues during all hours of the day, every day of the week, understanding the responsibility of our organization’s requirement for 24/7 production support
- Ability, willingness, and flexibility to travel as needed for approved work purposes in accordance with project and management schedules
Experience/Qualifications:
- 6 + years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financial Applications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems preferred but not required
- Be legally able to work in the United States: U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident
License Requirements/Certifications:
- Valid U.S. drivers license (for rental cars when applicable)

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000, depending on circumstances, including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
