Job Description:
HOW A SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Analyze user and stakeholder needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects associated with an electronic health record system.
- Develop functional and technical requirements and document them in the requirements repository (Azure DevOps).
- Manage the full requirements lifecycle.
- Perform functional modeling based on requirements analysis.
- Consult with clients to determine optimum solution design for assigned projects.
- Write and update project documentation including user manuals, presentations, and training materials.
- Develop test use cases and scripts to be used in user acceptance testing. Able to execute test cases and perform internal/functional testing.
- Collaborate with software development teams and adhere to all contract personnel reporting requirements.
- Respond to inquiries from the client, clinicians, field personnel, developers, and other customers.
- Submit status reports to the PMO and/or Lead Analyst.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Six years of general experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline and at least three years of specialized experience, or four years of general experience with a MA/MS degree and at least two years of specialized experience, or ten years of general experience with at least eight years of specialized experience with no degree.
- Experience creating process and data flow diagrams, prototypes/wireframes.
- Experience writing use cases and user stories.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work on a remote/distributed team.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE:
- Understand electronic health system functionality.
- Agile certification such as Scrum Alliance CSM or Scaled Agile SAFe.
- Experience with Health IT, Clinical Reporting and EHR systems.
- Knowledge of the VA and IHS environments, RPMS or legacy VistA.
- Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to analyze data using Excel and pivot charts.
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $88,000 – $132,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
