Providence is calling a Senior Communication Specialist who will:
- Engage in broad internal/external communication projects to support organization-wide programs and initiatives
- Assist with developing consistent, clear messaging to all Providence St. Joseph Health audiences
- Perform various communication tasks and functions to support the strategy, planning and delivery of communication efforts
We welcome remote work for residents who live in the following areas:
- Washington: Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Walla Walla
- Washington State
Travel Requirements for this role:
- Travel will be required to ministry locations in the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla within Washington State
- On average you will travel to these locations 2-4 times per month
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or another related field of study
- 3+ years experience in communications, preferably in healthcare
- 3+ years experience in developing communication programs and business relationships
- 3+ years experience working in highly matrixed and geographically dispersed organizations and teams
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years communication experience in the health care industry
- 5+ years experience in a faith-based health system/organization

- Min: $34.28
- Max: $55.33
E-WA: (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla):
- Min: $30.50
- Max: $49.23

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
