Arcadis is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler for our team in Nashville to support project management by creating and managing schedules for various projects.

Role description:
As a Senior Construction Scheduler at Arcadis, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and analyze program and project level schedules to ensure the successful completion of construction projects for clients. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing project schedules to meet project objectives and milestones.
Role accountabilities:
- Independently review, analyze, and report on baseline schedules submitted by contractors: You will assess the initial schedules provided by contractors and evaluate their feasibility and compliance with project requirements.
- Independently review and analyze monthly schedule updates and complete reporting requirements: You will regularly review the schedule updates submitted by contractors, analyze any changes or delays, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate review of project schedule updates with the appropriate staff: You will collaborate with the relevant project staff and stakeholders to review and assess schedule updates, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Review and analyze contractors’ submitted Time Impact (Entitlement) Analysis: You will examine contractors’ claims for time extensions, conduct a thorough analysis of the impact on the project schedule, and provide findings and recommendations to the client for negotiation purposes.
- Scheduling tasks including cost loading, cost status reporting, cash flow projections, task/confirmation lists, claims analysis, overall program status assessment, and periodic reports for oversight management and field coordination: You will be involved in various scheduling-related activities, such as cost tracking, cash flow projections, claims analysis, and generating reports for management and coordination purposes.
- Follow appropriate internal control safeguards to ensure consistent reporting of accurate information: You will adhere to internal control protocols to maintain the integrity and accuracy of scheduling data and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management: A relevant educational background in these fields will provide the necessary foundation for this role.
- 10+ years of project scheduling experience in construction: Extensive experience in construction project scheduling is required, demonstrating a deep understanding of scheduling principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience using P6 or other scheduling software: Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6, is preferred, as it is commonly used in the construction industry for project scheduling and management.
- Previous TDOT project experience: Experience working on projects with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is desirable and will contribute to your ability to effectively navigate project requirements and procedures.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $82,000 – $123,000.
