Senior Project Manager – Workday Engagement Manager

• Responsible for the analysis, initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of projects and ePMO initiatives as assigned by the Program Manager or other ePMO senior leader
• Exhibits strong project initiation and planning activities with experience justifying and planning projects, to include scope, requirements, defining and baselining project scopes (via charters, scope statements, work breakdown structures, statements of work)
• This position is responsible for all project management activities, updates, and reporting across existing and new application implementations within the academic, research, and healthcare system portfolios
• This role ensures the accurate recording and timely resolution of project issues, change requests, and risks, and for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, this includes utilizing standard project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures
• This position is expected to comply with, support, and provide feedback on enterprise-wide project management methodologies, tools, and applications
• Responsible for executing approved projects to meet customer expectations, deadlines, and budgets including managing stakeholder expectations, planning, and scheduling project resources, managing team members as well as vendors
• Proactively manages risks and issues to deliver projects according to scope
• Working knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques and tools with strong project execution abilities and strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize, manage, and lead the project team to success through building strong relationships with colleagues and system partners
• Demonstrates self-awareness and provides mentorship to other team members
• Must hold a HCM and Project Manager

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $105,600 – $214,200.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Project Managers take full responsibility for managing a project or program. They normally manage a number of related streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction. Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. A Project Manager usually has technical expertise in one or more other domains (e.g. a Project Manager with testing skills could perform a test manager function).

Required Skills and Experience:

You are responsible for leading either a large project or a definable segment of a very large and complex project. Clients may be external or internal. You are responsible for the translation of the client’s complex business requirements into formal agreements. For these, you establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results. This includes working with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the client’s solution. You are responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.
• Qualification: 9-13 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) Bachelor’s Degree
• Certification: Manages engagements with complexity on EM level 1 or higher. Is, if possible, certified on this level.
• Should be experienced in Negotiation, Vendor Management, Risk Management, Project Financials, KPI & Reporting
• Should have progression skills in Quality Management
