The Role
Our Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Consulting practice is looking for Program Managers at Senior Consultant level to join our growing practice.
Do you want to deliver best-in-class digital products for our most innovative clients? The Digital Commercial Bank Product team is responsible for defining and executing the digital strategy for the firm’s commercial bank clients. As a Program Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to drive prioritization, accountability, financial management, metrics tracking, and controls management of portfolio initiatives supporting the Commercial Bank’s largest digital transformation programs. This is a highly collaborative role. You will work closely with Agility Leads, Technical Project Managers, and senior stakeholders.
We’re looking for a Senior Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a senior consultant, this means creating high-quality client deliverables and taking ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; developing an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and participating in People Care initiatives and exhibiting personal leadership at all times. Responsibilities
• Lead and effectively communicate overall program status and workstreams
• Work with partners to clearly understand business problems, opportunities, and long-term business strategy
• Develop and manage the overall program for the Digital Commercial Bank. Drive delivery of releases while balancing operational and client impacts
• Manage release readiness and key stakeholder reviews and overall change management
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead complex projects simultaneously
Qualification
- 5+ years of Program Management experience in banking, insurance industry
- Experience in managing complex programs with multiple workstreams
- Strong executive presence, ability to provide updates vertically and horizontally to key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience problem solving and managing large programs at scale
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant financial products/financial/ insurance industry experience
- Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading delivery in an agile delivery model Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Demonstrated experience creating executive read-outs and managing PI planning
- Ability to handle ambiguity and white space.
- Strong technical background and the ability to understand technical dependencies and SDLC
- Fintech or financial experience

- Location: Onsite OR Hybrid with 2-3 days onsite
Work Authorization

The annual salary for this position is between $[80,000.00 – 135,000.00] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
