About the Role
Reporting to the Penfolds Hospitality Senior Sales Manager, you will actively plan and implement commercial strategies to increase existing business and capture new opportunities by targeting (U)HNWI and HNWI through nurturing key relationships and extending and executing personalized services and experiences.
Key responsibilities:
Event Activation, Marketing & Planning
- Support Penfolds Sales and Marketing strategies by creating and managing EComm and Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Drive EComm, Club sales and Email list acquisition and marketing strategy to deliver on targets for cohesive planning and conversion
- Work with shared resources to create and manage digital content on penfolds.com and social media.
- Work alongside the Penfolds DTC team to create and execute bespoke (high image) brand events/programs/communications to create desirability and drive sales
- Implement all strategies short, medium and long term to achieve sales objectives
- Create and Prepare Customer Event collateral for Events
- Manage team A&P budget
- Evaluate contracts with the support of legal (where applicable)
Sales
- Serve as Sales point of contact for Penfolds assigned collector accounts and submit/complete orders for clients as assigned.
- Host and execute Penfolds events in line with new customer acquisition and support team with activations as assigned
- Manage lead tracker -including source and other details to help with business development
- Research and maintain new partnerships, networks and collaborations with like minded luxury brands with relevant categories with opportunities for corporate gifting
Sales Support
- Ensure a cohesive and aligned approach with key internal stakeholders
- Manage customer database updates including support for data acquisition Aps
- Provide sales support as needed for Luxury Sales team
- Working with Director of Luxury DTC Sales, support tracking of results against annual plan
Guest Experience, Consumer Journey & Tools Expectations
- Create and overdeliver on expectation of clients
- Support team with seamless consumer journey across all key channels e.g. event, UX, phone etc.
- Create and execute luxury selling tools to support market activation in line with strategy
- Adhere to pricing guidelines, co-ordinate pricing, and prioritize product offers to be released to clients
- Follow internal procedures and standard policies when developing new client accounts
- Follow compliance guidelines on protecting client data.
About You
- You have 3 or more years’ experience and demonstrated passion for the wine industry.
- You have experience with high-touch events and activations.
- You have a proven track record of generating sales.
- You have strong computer skills, notably Microsoft Office suite of products.
- You are self-motivated, highly organized, and require minimal day-to-day direction.
- You have strong written, verbal and organizational skills in English.
- You can effectively communication with all levels of employees and consumers, written and spoken, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- You are able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
- You have basic knowledge of wine production and varietals.
- Must be able to travel on occasion to other Company locations in the area.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $63,000 to $75,000 per year plus bonus. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Napa, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
