Description
The Senior Data and Reporting Professional performs a varied array of data-focused tasks and functions in support of clinical operations leaders. These functions may include analyzing existing data and reports, querying datasets, generating insights, and providing strategic guidance on operational processes, member, provider and associate experiences, and clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the information.
- Report Development: Design and maintain reports of various complexity, from automated BI dashboards to ad-hoc spreadsheets and everything in between.
- Custom Solutions:Tailor reports and analysis to meet specific business needs based on requests and collaboration with internal customer leadership.
- Operational Insights:Combine functional understanding of clinical actions, operational processes, technical systems, and data sources to identify and measure opportunities for improved outcomes and efficiencies.
- Strategic Influence: Develop strong and trusting relationships with clinical customer leadership to influence departmental strategies with data-driven recommendations and insights.
The Clinical Ops Analytics team takes pride in our flexibility, which enables us to meet the needs of our customers in a timely, and customer-centric manner. That flexibility may require manual or ad-hoc analyses, as well as moderately to highly complex analyses and collaborations. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional has the opportunity to work directly with front-line to senior level leaders and requires strong communication and collaboration skills. This role is empowered to make decisions that best suit a given request, initiative, or customer, but may also require tasks such as line-by-line accuracy checks, looking up individual records in user applications, iterating and re-iterating, innovating solutions to data and operational problems, tracking down subject-matter experts, and working in a loosely documented data environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
- Advanced SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) skills including the ability to work efficiently without write privileges.
- Experience working with complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data
- Expert verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership including the ability to internalize and translate business needs to technical outputs
- Excellent data visualization and presentation skills including business intelligence tools (PowerBI, etc.), Excel, Powerpoint, and others
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
- Expert analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle, SAS and other data systems
- Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$71,500 – $98,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
