Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
  • Experience in data mining
  • Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Mode BI and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
  • Analytical mind and business acumen
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience

Preferable experiences:

  • Spinning up ML platforms
  • Startup environments

Job Summary:

As a Data Applied Science Engineer working on our Marketing Center product, you will take full end-to-end ownership of data-driven products, playing a pivotal role in shaping their success. You will lead the development of innovative data science solutions, overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to implementation. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and software engineers to build and optimize our products. Your expertise will drive data-driven decision-making and support marketing decisions made by our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
  • Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Combine models through ensemble modeling
  • Present information using data visualization techniques
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

Several factors are taken into consideration that determine the salary range of this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $180,000 to $200,000.

The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role (except as noted below); the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
