Principle Objectives:
The Sr. Designer, as a key member of the global creative team, has a strong passion for design, elevated taste, and a keen awareness of current luxury beauty and design trends. This role is dedicated to creating elevated, on-brand visual designs and digital experiences for TOM FORD BEAUTY. The primary focus is on 2D design solutions, especially online digital assets tailored for the APAC retail market. Candidates should have a meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of typography across both digital and print platforms, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position reports to the Director, 2D within the global creative department.
Responsibilities:
- Area of focus: Online retail digital design, creative collaterals, social channels, mobile & web.
- Actively visualize concepts through mood boards, sketches, renderings, Photoshop comps, etc.
- Review and lead updates for multi-lingual campaign creatives.
- Manage global communications and assist with regional campaigns.
- Challenge standard practices and think creatively.
- Create templates and guides for various regional creative partners and internal needs.
- Foster an environment of trust and collaboration, actively building relationships across disciplines and with external partners.
- Engage actively with cross-disciplinary teams, including social, creative operation, events, freelance designers, comp houses, and producers.
- Stay updated on design, technology, digital device, and platform trends across cultures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, participate in new launch processes, and ensure global signoffs for seasonal marketing comps.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Advertising, or related fields.
- Minimum of 6 years in Digital design, with experience in online retail environments.
- Luxury brand experience is a plus.
- Innovative and self-motivated; able to excel under pressure and navigate design shifts in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, speaking to both creative vision and tactical details.
- Strong presentation capabilities; adept at both independent and collaborative work.
- Proactive team player, forming strong partnerships with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Efficiency-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Figma, basic UI/UX concepts, and APAC retail platforms is essential.
- Proficiency in MAC OS, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Video software knowledge is a bonus.
- Understanding of APAC culture and languages is a plus for excelling in this role.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
