The WW APB Marketing Organization is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Designer to support design work across Amazon Private Brands, reporting to a Creative Director. This role is part of internal creative team composed of designers, copywriters, productions designers, and brand managers that combine talent, expertise, and customer obsession to create compelling and memorable brands for products that customers love and prefer. They will be instrumental in the creative execution of our program and campaign work, driving innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences and deliver exceptional results. They will contribute to key elements of a brand’s holistic vision and visual identity with executional excellence. The Senior Designer works independently, managing competing priorities, and collaborates with the Creative Director, designers, editorial teams, and marketing partners.

The role develops concepts and executes on multiple projects for our brands. Key job responsibilities
• Lead design activities (concept development, layout development, templatization, and retouching) across multiple programs (web/print)
• Mentor and guide designers within the digital design development process
• Manage multiple projects ensuring all are completed within identified timelines and budgets
• Develop and strengthen brand assets, including style and usage guidelines, across multiple categories
• Perform shared tasks and activities as needed to ensure creative team efficiency, including management of assets (font/stock imagery, design tools and resources) and technical troubleshooting
• Drive improvements based on data and insights
• Build team knowledge of benchmarked design practices and trends in multiple facets of design

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of design experience
– Have an available online portfolio
– Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
– Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field
– Work samples online or as PDF, including at least 3 multi-component projects which demonstrate a dedication to high-quality creative, concept development, and high-quality production
– Fluency with digital content art direction and production, including familiarity with post-production editing and retouching
– Detailed, hands-on experience with typography and image standards for web
– Excellent verbal and written skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Deep knowledge of typography, graphic design
– Ability to problem-solve, support and collaborate with other team members effectively
– Agility for time management and prioritization
– Strong organizational skills, especially as relate to file structure/creation and versioning or archiving
– Superior attention to detail
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple parallel-path projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
