Job Description
Summary:
- Reporting to a Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, the Senior Digital Designer is responsible for creating and executing digital design projects that meet the company’s branding and marketing goals. This includes working with clients to understand their needs, developing creative concepts, and executing those concepts in a variety of digital media.
- The Senior Digital Designer works with a team of designers to create high-quality, user-friendly designs for websites, social media, and other digital platforms and is familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of creative tasks in addition to managing creative production.
- This is a Hybrid position where you will work in the Administrative Irvine office 3 days/week and from your home office 2 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute digital designs that meet the company’s brand standards and marketing goals.
- Work with marketing team to design and test creative concepts with the goal of improving creative performance metrics/KPIs.
- Design for direct response/lead generation.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and develop creative concepts.
- Execute creative concepts in a variety of digital media, including websites, apps, social media, and email marketing.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with other designers, developers, and marketing professionals.
- Participate in various marketing strategies and makes recommendation for changes and improvements to strategies to meet market changes.
- Maintain regular and timely attendance, reports to work as scheduled and as required to meet the needs of the College/University and assures time worked and/or time-off is recorded properly.
- Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, web design or related field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge/Experience:
- 7+ years related experience in digital design involving internet marketing, strategic web design and development, conceptual design, and direct response.
- 3+ years of training and mentoring team members experience preferred.
- Experience with highly regulated industries preferred, but is not required.
- Knowledge of strategic web and user interface design, customer acquisition tactics and marketing.
- Thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes and user interface design as well as industry best practices.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 5 & Photoshop Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript.
- Photography/video shooting and editing skills a plus.
- Has a strong understanding of digital design principles, as well as experience in working with a variety of design software.
- Highly familiar with design specifications for digital channel programs, inclusive of new and emerging technologies that support content/message delivery and measurement.
Salary:
- $82,915 – $120,201
