Job Description

As the Senior Director of Campaign Analytics, you are charged with leading and overseeing all marketing measurement practices at Saatchi. You will work closely with the Media, Strategic Planning, Creative, and Account Management departments, transforming data into client-facing stories that explain how our clients’ advertising campaigns performed vs objectives, as well as how the work could be optimized and improved moving forward. You will also work closely with clients to ensure their media reporting tools are best in class, constantly searching for new innovative tools and technology that give them a competitive edge.

Success for this position is measured by the ability to lead the Campaign Analytics team to produce articulate, intuitive stories that lead to a clear understanding of performance and areas of current and future optimization. You must be able to collaborate with a wide range of skillsets, job titles, and personalities across the client is crucial. Also key is your ability to partner seamlessly with clients, to understand when to lead and when to follow to maximize business results.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of analysts, delivering data-driven insights, partnering closely with clients, and collaborating with other teams to ensure continuous improvement of campaign programs.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team; providing coaching, guidance, inspirational leadership and performance management on a regular basis
  • Serving as the Campaign Analytics team’s main point of client contact
  • Collaborating with other agency departments to determine best practices based on data-driven insights and real-world application
  • Performing analysis for broadcast, search, online display, mobile, gaming and social/conversational marketing and overall return on investment by program and model
  • Fluently interacting with syndicated media resources to perform analysis and critical thinking, applying business objectives, strategies and tactics
  • Analyzing and presenting key learning, insights and optimization recommendations to senior and executive audiences
  • Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks
  • Problem solving skills – Ability to identify holes in data and provide reporting solutions
  • Supporting agency teams and clients with ad hoc analysis, report assignments, and POVs
  • Attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time effectively
  • Critical thinking skills – Capable of generating consistent and accurate reporting results back to program/campaign objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to automate analyses and identify processes for efficiencies
  • Establishing & maintain benchmarks for overarching media strategies and key campaign initiatives
  • Bringing analytical rigor and precision to all reporting deliverables

Candidate experience should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, statistics, economics, business, marketing or other analytical field
  • 10+ years of analytics and database experience, agency experience a plus
  • 7-10 years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated passion and affinity for telling stories with quantitative data
  • Solid client services experience
  • Extensive experience successfully utilizing written and verbal presentation skills to articulate in-depth media theories and POVs
  • Experience designing and running A/B, pre/post, or control/exposed tests for performance optimization
  • Extensive knowledge of performance metrics, especially within digital and emerging media
  • Knowledge of current and future software, vendors, methodologies and best practices relevant to measurement

Compensation Range: $130,000.00 – $200,000.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
