The Senior Director will manage cash flow/capital expenditure forecasting and ad hoc financial planning & analysis projects. The ideal candidate will move beyond compiling data to telling the story behind the numbers and linking the story to day-to-day operational considerations. The Senior Director will also play a meaningful role in the development of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) Cash Flow system and companywide initiative to improve cash flow and capital expenditure reporting/planning processes. Works in conjunction with the Corporate FP&A/Finance team to directly support the Paramount Global CFO.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate FP&A, Cash Planning & Strategic Services, and working closely with senior leadership, this position will:
Forecasting:
- Prepare monthly Paramount Global Consolidated Cash Flows and supporting analysis to be distributed to the Senior Finance Leadership Team.
- Prepare monthly Consolidated Cash Flow Forecast, Budget, and Long-Range Plan packages.
- Prepare periodic Consolidated Cash Content Spending Long Range Plan/Budget Package.
- Proactively work with Divisions and Treasury to manage quarter end Cash Flow targets.
- Prepare monthly Capital Expenditure forecast and annual budget packages.
Story Telling:
- Manage Cash Flow Board of Directors presentation slides and detailed support pages.
- Communicate key business drivers of Cash Flow variances.
- Identify and communicate possible scenarios, associated risks and opportunities to include in cash flow reviews.
- Communicate with partners in a clear and concise manner (including Treasury, Accounting, divisional financial planning Leads, etc.).
- Provide strategy, analysis and insight around capital expenditures monthly forecasts and annual budget, including Identification/communication of project(s) scope and prioritization.
- Communicate key business drivers of Capital Expenditure variances.
New ERP/SAC system:
- Identify issues/patterns and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with divisional financial planning leads to identify direct cash actuals related issues and to ensure direct cash forecasting assumptions are aligned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, either finance or accounting is preferred.
- 12+ years of related experience.
- MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Prior Cash Flow management experience, preferred.
- Someone who has worked as a finance business partner in treasury and/or accounting.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to collaborate with and lead a diverse group of people.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; both written and verbal.
- Executive poise and ability to present to Senior Management.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $139,200.00 – 185,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
