Job Summary
The Sr Director of Mobile Device Product Portfolio & Category Management will have full end-to-end ownership and full product P/L accountability for the mobile device category. This leader will report to the SVP, GM of Mobile, with a GM approach focused on delivering a comprehensive and competitive mobile device (smartphones and accessory ecosystem products) portfolio, product lifecycle strategy and plan to drive profitable mobile device revenue growth, device attach and market share gain to achieve and exceed corporate budget plan objectives.
Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for the strategy of the “4P’s” of product management within mobile device product portfolio
• Accountable for product P/L and achieving and exceeding corporate budget plan objectives – includes driving profitable revenue, device attach growth and market share gain.
• Creates and articulates mobile device category growth vision for cross functional partners
• Ensure a competitive portfolio with the right products, price, line logic, promotion and channel enablement to maximize revenue, growth and loyalty
• Develop product roadmap for mobile products and services ensuring the right strategic portfolio, leveraging roadmap improvements in our Mobile Service offerings
• Responsible for the Optimum mobile device portfolio, accessories, and device operations including selection and delivery
• Strong and active strategic and execution partnership with key cross functional teams to ensure successful category management of product portfolio
• Monitor competitive landscape and market trends and incorporate that intelligence in recommendations made to senior leadership and key cross functional partners
• Develop and deliver product strategy material for product council and operations reviews
• Responsible for strategy, analysis and process improvements across full product and category portfolio (ie – current and future portfolio strategy, forecasts, performance analysis)
• Create and articulate mobile device category growth vision for cross functional partners
• Coordinate and drive launch strategy, forecasting, and ops across functions
• Ensure consistent product positioning across all retail channels and customer touchpoints, marketing, PR, care, and community affairs
• Plan price moves to maximize both category and portfolio subscriber volume and revenue
• Provides selling tools and investment guidance
• Develops demand plan and promo investment guidelines
Qualifications
• Thought leadership with subject matter expertise to drive passion, urgency, GM mentality and discipline amongst larger team and cross functional teams
• Strong leadership in building and developing direct and indirect teams
• Ability to regularly be present in Altice USA Headquarters in Long Island City, NY
• Strong stakeholder partnership across key leadership roles including but not limited to product development, product planning, sales, finance, marketing, CX
• Understands and applies knowledge of business financial drivers, develops solutions which produce desired sustainable results, manages and effectively uses OPEX promotional/offer funds, and establishes and tracks KPIs to optimize ROI
• Effective utilization of financial analysis and modeling techniques to optimize financial investments, in partnership with finance Team
Requirements:
• BA required/MA or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years in mobile leadership role
• Proven track record of consistent delivery against business plans and targets
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the mobile product and services ecosystem
• P&L leadership and mindset with a strong track record of growth
• Strong financial analysis capabilities
• Proven experience in data-driven decision-making, action, and delivery
• Proven ability to collaborate across growth, technology, sales, operations, and marketing teams to optimize and expand product offerings and solutions while driving growth
• Robust understanding of consumer behavior
• Leadership presence, strategic capabilities, effective collaborator, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated experience developing and providing sound, data-driven guidance and decisions to senior business leadership on sales strategies and performance

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $183,600.00 – $233,400.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
