Position Summary
The Senior Director of Constituent Growth and Retention oversees and leads the constituent-facing teams – both new business growth as well as the constituent service and retention arm of the organization. This role focuses on unlocking holistic growth: from developing programs and efforts to drive new members, race directors, coaches and clubs to our organization, to the retention and win-back efforts within these same groups. This is a critical role in the organization to connect and drive growth in the sport of Triathlon and Multisport, and satisfaction among existing members, coaches, clubs, and race directors with USAT. This role works effectively and closely with all other Federation, USOPC peers, endemic community leaders and strategic partners to seek and influence customer improvements and evaluate areas for future growth of the sport. Additionally, they are responsible for identifying and developing all processes, performance improvements and efficiencies for the growth and retention/service sides of the team. Pay Range: $100K – $140K

Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for new growth and expanded retention for key constituent groups including, but not necessarily limited to, members, race directors, coaches, and clubs within the USAT ecosystem
- Responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution with a focus on driving impact for our key constituent groups
- Operationalize insights by identifying key metrics, measuring progress against goals, and creating processes that turn analysis into action
- Collaborate with leadership across sales, service, business development, finance, events, product and program development, and marketing and communications
- Responsible for leading strategic partnerships that can provide mutual benefit for USAT and other organizations.
- Optimize Systems and Operations by Identifying and implementing improvements in current workflows, processes, and tools that can help improve efficiency and operations
- Reduce inefficiencies and drive new business growth through greater advocacy of the USAT brand and organization
- Be an inspirational leader by challenging and maximizing the strength of the team and aligning the efforts to the mission and vision of USAT.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, self-directed and approachable problem-solver who confers a sense of urgency and customer service with the entire multisport community in mind
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing environment as part of a team atmosphere, including effective coordination with other business units
- Strong organizational/project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
- Highly analytical, adept at finding meaning and summarizing key insights from ambiguous data sets combined with superb communication skills
- Curious, self-motivated, bias-for-action (“no task is too small” mentality)
- Ability to coach, mentor, motivate, and lead high performing teams
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Eight or more years of relevant work experience, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment in a sales, strategy & operations, or strategic growth role(s)
- Three or more years of Senior level management and strategic experience to include leading high functioning teams to drive forward complex initiatives
- Established track record of exceeding targets, customer service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in a quality led environment
- Five or more years of experience in constituent or client-facing roles and ability to manage external relationships of all levels
- Five or more years of experience managing customer service and outbound sales teams
- Preferred: Senior level sports leadership with oversight of large and small groups
- Preferred: Experience with the sport of triathlon or endurance sports
