This role provides leadership and ownership for conceptualization, assessment, validation, build, execution, and results realization of an array of marketing tactics across each line of business (postpaid, prepaid, high speed internet and business in retail) intended to drive profitable subscriber and revenue growth and deliver upon annual and long term marketing objectives. This role plays a key contributor in assessing ongoing viability of offers and provides data and insights-based counsel on pricing and promotions strategies while helping to develop tactics necessary to achieve business results.
- Take the lead on providing strong, clear and analytical leadership on the effectiveness of our marketing and media spend.
- Leverage analytical information to lead the develop insights and actions for pricing, promotions, digital marketing and CRM activities that will drive long term profitability of our customers.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and influence skills to gain credibility and drive decision-making with cross functional stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Ensure all promotions and pricing value propositions, tactics, and messaging are consistent and integrated with overall marketing and channel strategies; develop pricing analysis and sensitivity models to derive the implications on acquisition strategy, marketing activities and operational processes.
- Develop hypotheses and synthesize fact-based conclusions into recommendations including preparing and delivering comprehensive business cases to executive leadership.
- Seek continuous improvement by assessing and reassessing processes to create greater levels of effectiveness and standardization.
- Leadership for operational and implementation responsibilities which include enhancing the integration with other marketing teams and leading the development and design of new reporting and measurement of marketing program effectiveness.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Brand Strategy, Insights, Business Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis and Supply Chain to achieve overall business goals
- Develop and maintain competitive awareness of rate plans, handsets, products & services by market geography and channel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7-10 years business experience, with an emphasis in marketing, pricing or promotional leadership roles, or financial/statistical modeling.
- Strong project planning and project management skills are a must. Comfort with ambiguity.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience making presentations to senior and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated negotiation and meeting facilitation skills as well as experience leading and influencing cross functional teams team members without authority.
- Demonstrated accountability for having set and implemented complex strategies as either the leader to cross functional team.
- Ability to hold collaborators and associates accountable for performance and progress.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Skills and experience with data querying.
- Wireless industry experience.
- MBA or graduate level degree in a related field.
Salary range: $87500-$132168
