Position: Senior Engineer – Industrial Wastewater Treatment

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer specializing in Industrial Wastewater Treatment for our Tampa, FL location. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, particularly those related to Industrial Wastewater Treatment. Your expertise will contribute to our success in providing cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of industrial wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment projects, overseeing data evaluation, bench and pilot testing, treatment technology selection, and permitting processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams across multiple offices to tackle challenges, assess industrial wastewater systems, develop treatment options, and create detailed plans and specifications, including PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and mass balances/loading details.
- Prepare comprehensive work plans, design reports, engineering cost estimates, construction completion reports, and O&M Manuals, among other essential documents.
- Provide support for inspection and troubleshooting of existing systems, identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Manage equipment selection and procurement, oversee construction phase engineering services, and actively participate in design and construction meetings with clients, subcontractors, and regulators.
- Engage in marketing/sales efforts, project management, and client interactions to foster new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree in a pertinent discipline preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in industrial wastewater design, with a significant period in a professional-in-responsible-charge role.
- Possession of a valid PE license in FL or other relevant states.
- Previous experience with instrumentation and controls/automation is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally up to 30%.
- Proven track record of establishing new clients/business opportunities.
- Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation in the U.S.
