Job Description
Support the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Office in the development of information lifecycle management requirements, guidelines, and best practices for effectively managing enterprise data across the end-to-end data lifecycle. Provide guidance to stakeholders on the collection, discovery, management, access, use, security, retention, and retirement of data assets. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature information lifecycle management capabilities. Support the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Office in the development of data quality requirements, standards, frameworks, capabilities, and best practices. Provide guidance to stakeholders on developing and implementing data quality strategies and capabilities that improve data accuracy, reliability, and integrity while ensuring fit for intended use. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature data quality capabilities. Support the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Office in the development of metadata requirements, guidelines, and best practices. Provide guidance to stakeholders for establishing processes to identify, inventory, and capture accurate, complete, and quality metadata. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature metadata management capabilities. Support the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Office in the development, implementation, and management of Navy Federal’s data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Assist in implementing and managing frameworks designed to identify, evaluate, and manage data governance controls across the organization or a particular business. Identify, measure, and report on compliance with data governance requirements.
