The Environmental Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering personnel and performing diverse tasks in the field, engineering, project management, technical support, and consulting related to engineering. This includes data analysis, environmental media sampling, construction support, and oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the work of engineering personnel.
- Handle various aspects of project management, including budgeting and timeline management for complex projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in spreadsheet-based models such as Quick Domenico and Biochlor.
- Possess a strong understanding of regulations governing the generation, transport, and disposal of regulated waste commonly encountered at environmental sites.
- Have knowledge and experience in issues related to industrial ventilation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of previous experience as a Technical Project Engineer or similar role.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of methodologies.
- Proficiency in technical concepts, systems, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills and team player mentality.
- Additionally, this role requires some travel to client locations. Travel primarily consists of day trips within the state or neighboring states, which may result in longer workdays. There may also be instances of extended travel, including multiple days and overnights, and the need for long-distance drives or air travel.
