Your Role at Baxter
The Senior Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive executive support services with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgment to the President and senior leadership team within Healthcare Systems and Technologies segment. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support services.
Your Team
The Senior Executive Assistant is a trusted member of the team who provides administrative support in a highly confidential matter. In addition to traditional administrative duties (correspondence, calendaring, setting up video conferences, etc.) you will partner with members of the Baxter organization at all levels.
The Senior Executive Assistant will also be responsible for handling the planning and execution of many events and schedule high-level executive talent visits.
What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for supporting the President and other members of his management team including arranging travel, submitting expense reports, handling calendars, setting up conference calls, arranging meetings, team events and dinners, etc.
- Maintain sensitivity to confidential matters.
- Maintain a high level of engagement with multiple business partners both in Deerfield HQ and regionally, including Finance, Administrative Services, HR, and other business units.
- Handle information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance in day-to-day operations and maintain files according to appropriate guidelines.
- Plan, coordinate, and keep contents of meetings focused.
- Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives, and work with leadership to deliver, supervise and communicate progress towards goals.
- May be responsible for budget tracking.
- Build/prepare correspondence and presentations.
What you’ll bring
- 6 + years of experience as Executive Assistant or Sr. Executive Assistant level.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or professional certification preferred.
- Previous experience with executive travel arrangements, expense reporting, meeting planning, and calendar management.
- Must possess outstanding critical thinking skills, exercise sound business judgment, and handle highly confidential information with integrity.
- Results- and solutions-oriented in supporting multiple change agendas.
- Ability to work independently and identify proactive solutions to sophisticated situations.
- Highly detailed, and flexible, with ability to balance and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Maintain the highest degree of accuracy and timeliness of work.
- Exceptional knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and computers/systems (especially Zoom, WebEx, telepresence, video conferencing).
- Project management experience a plus.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $41,500 to $120,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
