Position Title: Sr Experience Designer

If you answered yes, you might be up for the challenge of joining the Worldwide Customer Experience (WWCE) customer experience design team to develop player support journeys across our product suite.
At EA, our Service Design team helps establish the standards for our support journeys through service design methodologies and provides a human-centered focus for all of our experience solutions. We help our organization see the big picture as end-users see it and offer tools to infuse design in all of our interactions.
The Sr Experience Designer is a remote-friendly role reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Design and Research. You will lead multiple projects, create and test designs from low to high fidelity, and bring creative innovation to solve both internal and external customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute multidimensional Service Design project plans, defining scope, goals and deliverables using human-centered methodologies
- Lead multiple service and experience design projects simultaneously
- Build comprehensive views of current and ideal states for different experiences
- Develop a full understanding of the problem and goals for all users and communicate how the business can achieve the designed solution
- Perform user/customer research in partnership with our insights and UX teams
- Use design thinking techniques and artifacts to create and evolve customer experience offerings
- Gain an understanding of important challenges and opportunities for our cross-functional partners within WWCE
- Establish relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the project life-cycle
- Communicate service concepts by illustrating all components and touch-points of current and potential services
- Mentor designers and researchers on the team in best practices within the user experience and service design industry
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human-Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related disciplines; or equivalent experience
- Expertise in Design Thinking/Human-Centered Design and Service Design
- Depth in at least three practice areas (design research, experience strategy, service design, interaction design, or visual design)
- 5+ years experience designing for a variety of digital touch-points and non-digital channels
- Project management skills. Experience functioning as a project leader for multiple simultaneously occurring projects.
- Experience organizing data into clear concepts and communicating ideas to diverse groups
- Knowledge in UI and UX best practices
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and other tools used widely in the design community
- A collaborative nature with strong visual communication skills and appreciation of ambiguous design challenges
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
° $113,300 – $171,700
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
° $111,500 – $171,700
• Jersey City, NJ:
° $126,700 – $171,700
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
° $111,500 – $144,000
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
° $111,500 – $157,300
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
