OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Affiliate Finance team within US Networks Distribution! USND is responsible for delivering ~$8 billion in annual revenue to Paramount Global through distribution agreements with our affiliates in the Pay TV environment. The Affiliate Finance Team is responsible for the reporting and analysis of all financial information through our budgeting, monthly/quarterly close and forecasting processes.
In partnership with the Sr. Manager of Affiliate Finance the Senior Financial Analyst will assist in:
– Manage financial information for USND, reconciling monthly expenses and revenue with corporate FP&A, Controllership, and various divisions within Finance
– Demonstrate cross-functional expertise in accrual-based expense accounting, invoicing, accounts payable, and cash management and payments
– Ensuring the accurate and timely recognition of all financial information, consolidation, and reporting of monthly/quarterly close, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range plans
– Ensuring the integrity of data transferred among various financial applications (GL, forecasting tools, reporting tools, etc.) by proactively identifying errors or inefficiencies and implementing needed solutions
– Ad hoc reporting and analyses
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred
– 3+ years of related FP&A and/or accounting experience
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with Excel and PowerPoint required. working with large data sets and databases a plus
– Able to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
– Proactive self-starter who can work well in a team-based setting
– Private/Public background preferred with a CPA or CPA candidacy in process a plus
– Previous experience with financial systems, including general ledger systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
– Experience working with large volumes of data and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos)
– Analytical problem-solving skills, ability to contextualize data effectively and efficiently
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Ability to learn quickly, be flexible and adapt to changing industry and organizational landscape
– Interest in and passion for media and technology!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $72,900.00 – 95,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
