Overview and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for reviewing the reporting and accounting for the international physical licensing business, in compliance with individual licensee contractual terms.
• Reviews and analyzes license agreements (interprets contractual terms; establishes revenue recognition requirements; establishes billing and payment terms)
• Approves and processes statements to be sent to customer
• Performs detailed analysis and research for reconciliation of accounts
• Prepares monthly reporting (AR Aging, Bad Debt, P&L, etc.)
• Handles customer queries and royalty summaries
• Review receivables for past due balances and communicate with customers for resolution
• Assists with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
• Applies cash receipts to AR subledger by customer account
• Sets up contracts within Media Maestro
• Make adjustments to revenue models and promotions as required
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting
• Experience with financial analysis, US GAAP and IFRS
• 3+ years related experience preferred
Additional Qualifications
• Experience in month end close and reporting preferred
• Experience in entertainment industry preferred
• Advance proficiency MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Strong analytical and organizational skill
• Experience with Media Maestro and SAP is preferred
• Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions
• Excellent written & oral communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 – 80,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
