Your role in our mission
- Position will be primarily responsible for maintaining an accurate forecast of revenue and expenses for the Medi-Cal contract. Other responsibilities will involve interacting with other team members to ensure financial impacts are properly incorporated in ongoing forecast.
- Schedule and lead regular forecast reviews with operations to understand changes in their operations and the resulting changes that are being driven into the forecast. Meetings should identify cost and revenue changes and impacts of upcoming business actions.
- Work with account directors to capture financial impact of account/project activities. Ensure that any added revenue is matched with corresponding increase in resources/staffing. Prepare recommendations and reports to leadership/management.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and work with operations to develop pricing strategies to address the structure of the underlying arrangement and work with operations team to ensure full understanding of deliverables needed by all parties.
- Assist corporate finance in validating monthend accrual calculations and close and forecast variance explanations.
- Provide ongoing financial analysis of specific issues as requested – for example: labor utilization, profitability by work area or position, overtime hours worked by area
What we’re looking for
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience with costing and pricing of add-on business services.
- Experience in presenting financial concepts and information to management team as well as less experienced staff members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality regarding employee/contractor information.
What you should expect in this role
- Prefer a resident of the state of California, but not necessary.
- Primarily remote work. May occasionally report onsite for meetings, special training requests, or other business needs. The office is in West Sacramento.
- Reliable high-speed internet connectivity is required.

The pay range for this position is $69,100.00 – $98,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
