Senior Financial Reporting Accountant – Work at any BOP location in WA or OR

  • Assist in the accumulation and preparation of other external reporting, such as investor reporting
  • Assist in the accumulation, preparation, and publication of internal financial reports, such as management reports
  • Assist with annual budget development and system maintenance
  • Partner with the Banks lines of business to understand, track, and report on key business drivers and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate, implement, and administer financial reporting systems.
  • Support the Accounting department and Bank with ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Education/Knowledge/Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or closely related field
  • 3+ years of financial institution experience preferred
  • Previous GAAP reporting experienced highly desired
  • Knowledge of financial institution accounting requirements, practices and procedures.
  • General communication (oral and written); clear voice communication; business telephone etiquette; distribute and exchange information with others; interaction with managers, employees, regulatory agencies, industry peers, customers, communicate/work with confidential information; compose draft written materials, correspondence/memoranda, reports, publications.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Solid analytical and technical skills.
  • Able to use all related hardware and software.

For your Benefit We Offer:

  • Salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant’s knowledge, skills and experience relevant to the position.
