WE OFFER As part of the Zeguro team, you will be working in a startup environment with a talented team based in the San Francisco bay area. You will be actively involved in creating new features for a product geared towards about a million of our small business customers. You will be part of the Global Innovation Group, interacting with product strategy, product management, and software engineering teams, and will actively be involved in strategy and roadmap conversations.

This position is responsible for:

  • Delivery of new technical features for a unique cybersecurity SaaS solution designed for our small business customers.
  • The design, implementation (write high quality and secure code), and test application software.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.
  • Working closely with the team to scope engineering requirements for a particular feature.
  • Continuously helping to improve our engineering culture, including practices and processes.

WE EXPECT Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience writing code in JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 or related application.
  • Experience with front end technologies and frameworks, preferably with React

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Computer science fundamentals and strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Deep interest in building pleasurable, reliable and functional user experiences. Cares about the little details that are not easily noticeable.
  • Understanding of agile software development lifecycle and devops principles.
  • API design and development experience. Node JS experience desired.
  • Required strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and explain technical decisions made.
  • Ability to write unit tests. Ideally has experience working with some testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, etc.
  • Experience with building and architecting microservices.
  • Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) product architectures, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Stack, cloud security and networking.

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $142,400 to $208,800, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in California. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
