Overview
The Senior Full Stack Web Developer position is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and growing applications developed by Konica Minolta’s Solutions Engineering Center (SEC). Qualified candidates should have experience working with the latest versions of JavaScript (ES2015+) and AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. In addition to a strong technical background, the ideal candidate should show the ability to think critically, gather information, and problem solve in a team environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process
• Work with other members of a small to mid-sized development team to design software architecture
• Assist with set up and tear down of tests for QA
• Create technical specifications for new features
• Analyze, diagnose, and implement fixes for reported issues
• Design and implement new APIs
• Perform code reviews and mentor other team members
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field
• 5+ years of proven professional experience as a software engineer developing desktop and web based applications
• Intermediate experience in functional programming, data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design and analysis
• Intermediate experience in software design best practices
• Intermediate experience developing software applications using any two or more of the following programing languages / technologies: C#, C/C++, Python, PHP, Node.js, ASP.NET Core, WPF, Go, Rust
• Intermediate experience developing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3
• Intermediate experience using SQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, constraints, and optimization techniques
• Intermediate experience using one Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Intermediate experience developing and deploying Docker containers
• Intermediate experience using Git or similar distributed version control systems
• Proficient using Linux/Unix from a terminal
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivating and self-learning Preferred
• Personal or professional experience using hapi, serverless.com, ECS, EKS, and Terraform
• Open source code you are proud of
Per Connecticut law, the range for this position is between $92,300 and $153,800
