Turn 10 Studios, makers of the award winning, billion-dollar Forza franchise, is searching for a Senior Game Physics Engineer to advance our world class racing simulation.
You will be joining a small multi-discipline team of talented people that work together to build features that delight our customers. You will drive the architecture and implementation of stable, flexible physics systems that enhance the accuracy of our game and make our players feel as if they are driving our cars in real life
Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
- OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience working directly with physics code
- 1+ year(s) experience working with rigid body physics simulations in shipping software
- 1+ year(s) experience working with C++
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in games industry
- 6+ years of professional C++ (or C#) development experience
- 3D math skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other disciplines.
- Experience building vehicle dynamics systems
- Love of games. The ideal candidate will have passion for our product and empathy for our players.
- Passion for cars and racing
Software Engineering IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 – $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 – $238,600 per year.
