Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Senior HR Associate to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.
CSS built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Information
We are seeking an energetic and collaborative self-starter with excellent people skills to join our dynamic HR team. The Senior HR Associate requires a broad Human Resources skillset and the willingness to share new ideas and work together with the team on best practices and continuous process improvements efforts.
Key Job Functions
- Leave Management: leads work internally and with 3rd party regarding Leave and Accommodations Management (FMLA, ADA, policies/procedures, other accommodations).
- Payroll Contribution: generates bi-weekly leave inputs for Payroll; serves as backup for other inputs.
- Onboarding: delivers parts of new hire orientation, checks in with management on new-hire progress; participates in projects.
- Performance Management Program: leads CSS’s Goal Setting, Annual and Year-End processes, as well as any other programmatic related programs/work.
- Leadership Support: consults with and coaches leadership on Talent Management and organizational goals and objectives.
- Compensation: lead compensation consultation, cyclical administration and programs (i.e., analysis, structure design, documentation, communications, compensation survey consumption and benchmarking); provides support to Exec. Comp. efforts.
- General: UKG system administration support, data input, and projects; utilizes ServiceNow for HR case management and adheres to SLAs; responds timely to all audit/ERM requests; provides QC on others’ work; contributes to team projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience
- A minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
- Experience with UKG desired but not required.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation desired but not required.
- PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification desired but not required.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated success performing activities related to general HR, performance management programs, compensation administration, and benefits regulations, particularly FMLA and ADA.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) required; experience with UKG (UltiPro) a strong plus.
- Possesses strong influencing, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
- A high degree of discretion, professional ethics, and judgment in confidential matters and information.
- Detail orientation, operational discipline/time management, organization, and the ability to multitask are essential, as are self-motivation and critical thinking.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate and work effectively with others at all levels is imperative.
- Proficient with MS Office suite, including experience with PowerApps.
Pay Range $101,575 to $173,341
CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
