NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor (for non-schedule A positions) or with the Department of Homeland Security (for Schedule A positions). This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 consecutive business days, ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.

POSITION TITLE: Senior Industrial Engineer
POSITION DUTIES: Support supply chain operations through direct coordination with the Supply Chain departmental leaders. Monitor and optimize business processes, investigate process discrepancies, propose and test potential solutions. Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the Supply Chain departments. Lead initiative to continuously develop a Lean system approach with the primary goal of increasing profit for the company across multiple RK business units. Work directly with the VP of Supply Chain and other departmental leaders to ensure optimization of business processes within the department and other business functions. Support implementation and maintenance of Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems, and effectively use the MRP system as a representation of the production department’s current state and capacity for improving factory operations and forecasting delivery dates. Develop a thorough understanding of all manufacturing related information and processing in the current or planned MRP and Manufacturing Execution (MES) systems including Bill of Material maintenance, especially as it pertains to Supply Chain Order Policies and Lead Times, Manufacturing Work Centers, Manufacturing Routings, Manufacturing Orders, Manufacturing Lead Time Calculations, and MRP and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) processing. Implement resolutions to improve and refine existing and new processes in a production environment. Develop and coordinate data collection, and report on supply chain and production performance, efforts to improve performance, and maintenance of higher levels of performance. Develop, implement, and sustain processes and procedures that address inefficiencies using Lean tools.
RATE OF PAY: $119,600 per year. The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor
REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Industrial Engineering plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as an Industrial Engineer or Quality Engineer. Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution (MES), and Enterprise Resource Planning/Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) systems. Bill of Material maintenance. Manufacturing Lead Time Calculations; and MRP and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) processing. Knowledge of Lean Tools, Statistical Programming Tools.
Implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
