Summary:

We are currently hiring for a unique opportunity to fill a key role on the Dexcom Investor Relations team. The Senior Investor Relations Analyst will work to support executive management with the communication of Dexcom’s strategic outlook and sustainability initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

Where you come in:

  • Conduct market research and dispense appropriate sell-side research across various Dexcom departments to convey market trends, investor expectations, and projected commercial impact related to Dexcom business collaborations
  • Actively monitor earnings calls, investor presentations, blogs, and various sell-side events related to Dexcom’s competitive landscape
  • Use Investor Relations tools to conduct shareholder profiling and assess investor base trends. Develop best practices for shareholder targeting to assist Executive Leadership in maximizing ROI at investor conferences and non-deal roadshows.
  • Assist Executive Team by participating in investor meetings and calls and effectively communicating the Dexcom corporate strategy in a clear and consistent manner
  • Communicate with sell-side analysts and manage Investor Relations tools to ensure that Dexcom management has a clear awareness of future investor expectations
  • Help build presentation materials on analyst expectations, competitive landscapes, shareholder trends, and industry trading performance for presentation to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
  • Participate in management prep for earnings calls, including review of the earnings script and assistance in question-and-answer preparation
  • Analyze external assessments of Dexcom’s ESG/Sustainability profile and evaluate the company’s progress relative to peers
  • Work cross-functionally to help organize the annual sustainability reporting update, including assistance in drafting the report
  • Participate in calls with key ESG stakeholders in the investor and analyst community
  • Other duties as assigned

What makes you successful:

  • Strong experience with reading and interpreting key financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
  • Strong understanding of valuation and modeling techniques used by investors and analysts.
  • Able to generate ad hoc financial models and scenario analysis, utilizing strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development and public speaking.
  • Ability to interact with customers and associates at all levels of the organization. Cultivates positive relationships with other associates.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
  • Responsible, reliable, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail
  • Previous capital markets experience preferred (e.g. investment banking, equity research, investment management, or capital markets service providers)
  • Awareness of the evolving ESG/Sustainability reporting landscape, including key trends and ratings providers
  • Familiarity with data platforms such as FactSet, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, Nasdaq IRInsight, IHS Markit etc.
  • Experience with diabetes or broader medical technology welcome, but not required

Exempt Salary Details:

  • The annual base salary range for this role is $87,000 to $145,000. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
