A large financial services client is seeking a Sr IT BA for a permanent opportunity onsite in downtown Cincinnati. They will be joining the Information Management Data Platforms organization. The Enterprise Integration & Services team within this org designs, develops, and supports integration, service, and API solutions necessary for connecting various applications together to properly support business operations. This person will be working on and responsible for:
– Gathering technical specifications for these solutions so they properly use the integration platforms and underlying IT infrastructure to effectively, efficiently, and robustly exchange data between applications.
– This role works closely with solution architects, enterprise architects and application developers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
– This role ensures that integrations developed by the IMO Integration team meets service developer and consumer needs while staying aligned to EA’s strategic direction for this domain.
– This role works to ensure that the integration solutions meet the functional needs of the projects, but also implement the non-functional requirements necessary to meet the quality of service needs for successful business operations.
Required Skills & Experience
– 4-8 years of IT Experience
– Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to communicate on a high level, able to take requirements from the business and translate that to a technical requirement
– Experience with SDLC lifecycle –>
– Experience reviewing conceptual and logical design diagrams
– Ability to evaluate functional requirements and create technical specifications
– Familiarity with API/Services concepts – purpose (can look at the functional requirements)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
– Familiarity with REST and SOA concepts
– Familiarity with XML and JSON message formats (can look at the functional requirements)
