The FC Mobile studio is responsible for the development and live operations of FIFA Mobile, soon to be EA SPORTS FC Mobile. The team is founded on passion, innovation, and creativity with a mission to provide immersive sports gaming experiences built for mobile devices and played by millions of gamers around the world. With teams located around the world, FC Mobile is powered by global talent and looking for passionate and creative team members to take the product into the future of mobile gaming.

Role Overview As a Lead Product Manager, you will create performance goals by learning about the market and translating it into strategy, being at the forefront of research, and helping create the identity of FC Mobile. You will be collaborative and require working with teams across the US west coast, and China. You will work with other PMs, analysts, designers, and developers to guide insights to influence the growth strategy of the product. You will balance qualitative and quantitative data to show where to prioritize efforts to reach our growth goals.

You will report to the Director of Product Management on the FC Mobile team.

Responsibilities

  • Build forecasting pipeline and performance goals for FC mobile
  • Create processes and pipelines for competitive intelligence
  • Influence product plans and partner with design to lead success
  • Partner with the operations team to evaluate live service tools and other opportunities
  • Achieve targets for business opportunities; work with partners to define
  • Lead product strategy and prioritization discussions for FC mobile
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead feature impact assessments and provide applicable recommendations to affect future iterations
  • You identify and analyze industry best practices for optimization, merchandising, and feature implementation
  • You will increase user and competitive research to identify user segments, highlight areas of opportunity, and present applicable findings to the team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, system design, live operations or analytics; mobile game experience
  • Proficient in data modeling; both predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Experience driving performance metrics across teams
  • Translate design to business goals
  • Influence with examples of data-based decision-making
  • Data-driven mindset, critical thinking, attention to detail, collaborative, and adaptability
  • Must have the passion, the guile to sell your ideas and influence other partners, and the desire to accomplish those ideas.
  • Must love creating fun, compelling, and engaging user experiences
  • Demonstrate scientific method experience in testing qualitative hypotheses with quantitative data
  • Passion for dissecting and analyzing games, systems, and features, and core game loops
  • Curiosity to understand the market movers and shakers
  • Meet (through Zoom) with international teams in SEA.
  • Experience managing or understanding of Sports games or character collector games
  • BA/BS, quantitative or technical degree (math, economics, engineering, or finance).

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):° $149,150 – $233,500
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):° $136,000 – $233,500
  • Jersey City, NJ:° $171,100 – $233,500
  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):° $136,000 – $190,850
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):° $136,000 – $218,900

Base salary is just one part of the compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.
