The Senior Leader, Finance is a critical member of the FP&A team, a key partner to RH’s Hospitality Team and reports to the Senior Director of Finance. The right individual will be essential in driving strategic decisions through modeling and analysis, developing accurate forecasts and reporting on business metrics. The Senior Leader, Finance will interact regularly with the Chief Hospitality Officer & other executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and accelerate visibility into a wide range of metrics for the business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forge meaningful relationships with the Hospitality team to become a trusted business partner
- Analyze monthly & quarterly business results, KPIs, trends, and synthesize results / critical business insights to leadership
- Highlight risks & opportunities, building sensitivity analyses and drive solutions to problems as they arise
- Annual budget development and monthly forecasts, long-range planning, and on-going reporting vs. forecast primarily for the Hospitality function
- Create, manage and automate operational reports and dashboards to monitor the performance of the business
- Support the monthly close process including explanations of monthly variances vs. forecast
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure entries are booked timely and accurately
- Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of monthly financial reporting
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or related field. Experience in hospitality finance a plus
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with VBA and Google Sheets a plus
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies
- Must be detail-oriented, curious and keen to dig into numbers and variances to propose recommendations and drive improved results
- Able to effectively communicate financial data to senior Leadership and peers
- Knowledge of Essbase / Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud and Oracle Financials a plus
