Senior Learning Program Manager, ITS L&D

The IT Services Learning & Development team is looking for an experienced learning program manager to support the development of our IT Services Associates, Engineers, and Managers. This is an individual contributor position.

We are looking for a senior learning program manager who innovates, moves quickly, and is not constrained by how things have been done before. You are a strong candidate if you:
• Are equally comfortable with strategy, design, and execution
• Have experience running large scale programs that require attention to detail and creative problem solving
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are comfortable with shifting business priorities
• Have the ability to influence others with data and are able to reach agreements related to complex concepts
• Have experience at building processes and mechanisms to keep programs on track to deliver
• Are comfortable working with partners across global geographies and time zones

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will understand and take action to meet the needs of the ITS Associates, Engineers, and Managers in the virtual and on-site spaces. You will work with global stakeholders across multiple disciplines to deliver programs that improve the way we onboard and develop our workforce. In this role, you will…
• Utilize ITS L&D’s strategic business goals to create and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with the greater ITS strategy and initiatives
• Create L&D standard work and measurements of success
• Identify, assess, and prioritize actions based on business impact
• Design, deliver, and manage scalable solutions for opportunities identified through a data driven approach
• Leverage innovative instructional design methods to create engaging, outcomes-driven, and effective learning experiences
• Analyze learning evaluation data to diagnose gaps, identify opportunities, and implement change to ensure our programs are current, relevant, and delivered effectively
• Partner with field teams to drive operational excellence in planning and executing ITS L&D initiatives
• Define future learning needs based on critical business developments
• Mentor other program managers within the ITS L&D organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

– Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

– Experience building onboarding programs, knowledge assessments, creating and evaluating KPIs, leveraging content authoring tools and platforms, and various modes of learning experiences (self-guided, insructor-led, social learning, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

– Experience in HR shared services, IT services, operations and/or compliance

– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

– Experience leading proof of concept & pilot tests across various learning-related projects, with a measurement and communication strategy for senior leaders with subsequent informed recommendations to act upon

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
