We are building our Global Marketing Localization group and are seeking a Senior Localization Producer who is eager to contribute to this exciting endeavor which allows us to speak to customers around the globe! Our Senior Localization Producer will report to a Localization Program lead and closely collaborate with cross functional peers across International Marketing, Studios Marketing and Amazon Studios Production and Mastering.
They will track assigned series/movies marketing campaign delivery progress while overseeing the processing of required assets from third-party production facilities through Amazon’s contracted vendors for localization, mastering, and delivery to IMDb TV – ensuring aggressive global release timetables are met. They will be responsible for updating and maintaining various schedules, keeping vendors and regional POCs up-to-date as creative materials are finalized, tracking localization progress, pursuing outstanding materials, organizing assets for final delivery to content publishing, troubleshooting any upstream or downstream rejections, and assessing and acting on customer feedback.
The role will liaise between current production and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation/adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning of Amazon Originals marketing campaigns for global release – while helping to streamline and achieve alignment across a variety of global vendors as well as internal teams (including Mastering, Strategy, Post, and Production). This position will also work with Localization Billing staff to track and monitor expenditures for all localization related work. The ideal candidate should be willing and able to handle a heavily administrative day-to-day while also collaborating and contributing to process planning and rollouts for future growth potential and efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
– Liaise between Studios Production, Marketing and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation/adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning of Amazon Studios/Prime Video Originals marketing campaigns for global launch – while streamlining operations and achieving alignment across a variety of global vendor and internal teams.
– Track series or movies campaign delivery progress while overseeing the processing of all required assets from third-party facilities through Amazon’s contracted vendors for end-to-end ownership of localization and delivery to Prime Video – ensuring aggressive global release timetables are met.
– Oversee project delivery calendars, keeping vendors and regional POCs up-to-date as escalations or significant rejections occur, high profile content is finalized, troubleshooting any upstream or downstream rejections, and assessing and acting on customer feedback.
– Identify process and cost efficiency opportunities, and work with manager and peers to improve current practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of experience with a variety of centralized Subtitling and Dubbing localization workflows and product types, including movies or series across multiple regions and languages, or experience working in the local office of a global studio or post-production environment geared toward similar work
– 5+ years of experience with acquisition and delivery of assets from producing entities to a studio or vendor
– Direct experience utilizing 3P post vendors and technical/workflow mechanisms from the beginning (greenlight) to end (distribution) of episodic or feature content life cycles globally
– Direct experience with a variety of digital media workflows and asset management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years working within, or partnered closely with, global marketing teams
– 8+ years of experience with a variety of centralized Subtitling and Dubbing localization workflows and product types, including movies or series across multiple regions and languages, or experience working in the local office of a global studio or post-production environment geared toward similar work
– 8+ years of experience with acquisition and delivery of assets from producing entities to a studio or vendor
– Demonstrated success in business reporting, with experience making data and insights accessible to a non-expert audience
– Proven effectiveness at delivering impactful programs; great interpersonal and communication skills
– Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with follow through to meet quick deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
