General Description of Duties: This position will be responsible for cultivating relationships with potential residents and their families as well as with professionals in the senior housing industry to include doctors’ offices, rehab facilities and hospitals. You will manage leads, provide tours and effectively coordinate move in activities for residents. Will work with facilities, state partners and the city to update and license homes. Will work with marketing department to develop a growing base of referral sources, to promote the program and fill Senior Living vacancies. You will attend senior marketing events, to coordinate and distributes marketing materials for senior events and community partner sites. Through a combination of telephone marketing and in-person efforts, generates and manages leads to qualify prospects for potential move in. Works with families with the intent of matching residents to the appropriate settings. Plans, collects and reviews monthly census to ensure full occupancy. Maintains a daily scheduling calendar; works with others from within the agency or external contacts as assigned. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with referral agencies. Advocates for all customer and exudes company values when interacting with internal and external customers. Maintains professional standards of personal appearance and grooming to reflect leadership and integrity, which includes appropriate professional attire, and wearing a name tag when in the community. Ensures understanding of and compliance with all regulations regarding client rights and facility requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent resident, associate, company and community information deemed as such. Ensures brand integrity in all aspects of marketing. Performs, maintains and completes all documentation and performs other administrative duties as needed.
Education and Experience: High School diploma, or equivalent required. Two (2) years general clerical experience required. Some college preferred. Must have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer skills (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet software) is required. Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks at one time, and have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to provide a harmonious, courteous, and considerate relationships, while fostering a collaborative teamwork environment with both agency employees and the public. Must have the ability to present a friendly, courteous image for the Agency to the general public, customers, and public officials.
Other Requirements: Must be pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug and TB screening. Must possess a valid NM driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must have basic computer experience. Must be able to lift 10 lbs. occasionally, stand, walk, bend, reach above shoulder(s), balance, push/pull, and carry occasionally. Adelante is a drug free workplace.
