Your Job:
The Brooks Brand Marketing team is responsible for driving go-to-market strategic planning for all global storytelling with a focus on getting runners to know and choose Brooks. This team is focused on driving and building the key global brand stories and working collaboratively with regional marketing teams to bring those stories to life for runners where and when they shop.
As the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the planning and development of seasonal go-to-market storytelling. You will partner with the Director, Brand Marketing to set strategic seasonal priorities and lead the development of the seasonal campaigns and foundational Product Marketing projects. You will collaborate closely with regional marketing teams to ensure all plans are integrated and aligned to seasonal marketing strategy and will play a large role in driving creative workstreams with the internal Creative Studio to bring the strategy to life visually.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in brand and product storytelling and the ability to guide cross-functional groups to a cohesive and integrated output.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a six-month Global Milestones Calendar which defines the seasonal global priorities
- Partner with the Director, Brand Marketing to develop the seasonal strategic marketing brief that delivers brand and business goals while also considering deep insights about target audience
- Lead development of all brand and product campaigns which includes partnering with Brooks Creative Lab to define the visual platform, oversee global tactical planning, prepare regions for seasonal go-to-market meetings, partner with regional Integrated Marketing teams to ensure tactical plans are aligned to global strategy and partner with Senior Manager, Brand Content on the development of global assets
- Oversee the development of all product positioning and messaging for brand product categories, communicating the value proposition of our products to differentiate us in the market, solidify our leadership position, resonate with runners, and balance performance, technology, and our brand voice
- Own strategic planning for foundational product marketing tools including packaging, naming, and seasonal sell-in tools
- Define the strategy for global sell-in tools based on ongoing insights and learnings with a focus on building efficient and effective tools that instill confidence from internal sales teams and increase sell-in with our wholesale partners
- Oversee the development of seasonal sell-in tools to ensure adherence to brand priorities and best practices as well as consistency across product categories and seasons
- Lead supplementary consumer research projects to help inform seasonal campaign strategy and/or product positioning which includes partnering with internal Run Sights research team or external vendor partners
- Act as a leader across the business and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Global Creative Lab and regional marketing teams
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Brand Manager’s by managing their career development and opportunities for growth within the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or combination of equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in brand or product marketing
- 5+ years people management experience preferred
- A proven storyteller, with a track record of developing engaging content-including brief writing and providing feedback on creative concepts
- Proactive, self-starter with an ability to work through ambiguity
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple projects and workstreams of various sizes, moving simultaneously at varying speeds
- Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
- Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another
- Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots”
- Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving the work we produce while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary

- Able to travel domestically and internationally 25% over the course of a calendar year
Compensation:
The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $128,702 – $205,944 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
