The Role
- Lead a non-certification coaching pathway aligned with the USTA’s ADM that will attract, engage and retain coaches at every level, to meet ratios that support player retention
- Lead a digital platform to house education curriculum for non-certified coaches, and competition providers to support training
- Provide educational support through digital platform and face-to-face opportunities to schools and afterschool programs
- Assist in a coach retention proposition through membership, incentives, and recognition
- Lead training programs to competition providers to ensure events meet safety standards, provide a positive experience for all participants, and align with the ADM
- Develop and manage relationships with key collaborators, including parents, coaches community partners, and other coach education providers
- Develop a network of experts to provide outstanding content that aligns with educational and training outreach to coaches, and competition providers.
- Build a cohort of education facilitators that can provide educational support to coaches
- Pilot and then build turn key educational collateral to facilities that would run tennis programs align with the ADM
- Provide mentorship to Section, district and community staff members working with local volunteer deliverers, with a focus on education
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, training development and or relevant experience
- Accomplished tennis player with instructing background, and coach developer experience is preferred
- Experience in youth sport, specifically youth tennis as coach or administrator
- Demonstrated ability on sophisticated project management
- Experienced presenter/outreach to community groups and instructing professionals
- Ability to appreciate and optimize volunteer heritage and resources and apply professional experience within a not for profit organization

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $69,000 to $84,000/yr. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant’s qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
