Summary
Reporting to the National Manager and mentoring the staff on the team, the Senior Manager, Finance of Americas Head Quarter (“AHQ”) is responsible for overseeing and supporting financial analysis and reporting processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ, continually monitoring and assessing internal controls over the financial reporting processes, identifying relevant risks and developing improvement plans. The Senior Manager is also responsible for reviewing new business plans and M&A opportunities and provide advice and analysis by assessing business assumptions and building financial models.
Responsibilities
- Managing financial reporting and its processes of subsidiary companies under AHQ under the direction of theirsupervisor:
- Establish, help establish, and monitor financial analysis and reporting processes to ensure they achieve their strategic business goals and financial reporting requirements
- Identify deficiencies in and improvement opportunities of such processes for individual subsidiaries or between subsidiary companies and provide advice, guide and support
- Provide advice, suggestion and guidance of accounting treatments for new business transactions to ensure that their accounting records are in compliance with their local GAAP and IFRS from the stand-alone financial statement perspective and consolidated financial statement perspective
- Provide leadership and coaching to accountants of the subsidiary companies on the accounting treatment/policies and other internal control policies
- Proactively work with other business teams to resolve or assist in resolving any financial reporting issues or setting up proper accounting and reporting processes
- Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy and reasonableness, and perform variance analysis to validate business assumptions and identify signals of unexpected problems that require immediate attention of decision makers
- Develop standard policies and procedures, reflecting the group-wide instructions, to manage and maintain business operational and financial objectives of subsidiary companies
- Support of new business development and M&A activities under the direction of their supervisor:
- Review new business plans and potential business opportunities and by building financial models, provide advice from the financial perspective such as financial impacts, constraints and cashflow projections
- Plan, perform due diligence of prospective M&A candidate companies, help ownership sale and purchase negotiations and execution, and support post-transaction activities
- Continuously review the current business portfolio to identify synergy-generating and optimization opportunities

Compensation Range
$110,000- $130,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good understanding of finance/accounting and internal controls
- Proficient skills with MS Office applications
- Good understanding of accounting & business intelligence solutions (SAP, Power BI, etc)
- Attention to details, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 8 – 12 Years of Experience in Accounting and Finance Required
- 1 – 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required
- CPA Required
- Public Accounting Firm Experience Preferred
- Audit and Process Improvement Experience Preferred
- CMA, CIA, CISA Preferred
