Walmart is looking for a strong candidate for our Senior SEO Product Manager (full-time, salaried, regular) role, to join our Product and Marketing Technology team. The Walmart SEO Product team builds digital SEO products across Walmart.com
You are passionate about search engines and SEO and use search engines heavily for e-commerce and research. You always put the customer in the center, building experiences that benefit both users and search engines. You are a team player, collaborate well and can lead without formal authority. You are passionate about SEO, so full of new ideas, and understand how to translate SEO guidelines to product enhancements. You like the challenge and know how to operate in areas with high-level of uncertainty. You have sharp analytical mind, and you always use data to back-up your intuition.
You’ll define and manage strategy and business objectives for highly complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products.
We’re looking for someone to drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
The ideal candidate will own parts of our SEO strategy from start-to-finish, developing product capabilities focused on driving quality traffic to our websites and apps from search engines.
- Contribute to a comprehensive SEO roadmap
- Conduct regular audits to identify SEO issues and recommend fixes.
- Work with engineering teams to build, optimize, and enhance site architecture
- Drive SEO related UX/Website redesigns
- Drive large-scale organic SEO feature improvements to provide a deep and wide breadth of scalable content
- Recommend and define requirements to implement technical SEO improvements on the site
- Work with others within the company and evangelize the SEO strategy
Education/Experience:
- 4-6 years of SEO experience
- 4-6 years of product experience
- Track record of developing and implementing successful SEO plans and strategies
- Advanced understanding of technical SEO concepts (crawling, indexing, rendering, site migrations, page speed optimization, core web vitals and more)
- Experience working on a large e-commerce website and understands the challenges of scale
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
- Experience with Google Business Profiles and other local opportunities
- Ability to analyze high volumes of data daily
- Experience with content management systems
Equipment/Software Used:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS as they impact search performance
- Advanced knowledge of SEO research tools (Keyword Discovery Tools, Crawling Tools , etc.)
- Familiarity with Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

The annual salary range for this position is $144,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
