We are seeking a customer-centric, analytical, and highly motivated individual to join our Product Success Team. The Research Manager I is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with assigned accounts to drive a high level of customer satisfaction, successful product use and customer retention. You will serve as the primary research point of contact – focused on understanding customer success criteria, addressing questions, resolving issues, and serving as a trusted advisor.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with assigned accounts, help them with issues, and continually delight them with a positive, customer-centric attitude. Provide proactive strategy with their assigned customer account lead.
  • Serve as product ambassador, keen on educating prospects and customers on the use and benefits of our product.
  • Execute all aspects of the research process from research design and questionnaire writing, field management to analysis, and interpretation of the results.
  • Review the customer journey, determine how it’s supported, and use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues and achieve their goals.
  • Be the client advocate by identifying product updates that reflect customer requests, industry, market, and competitor trends.
  • Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal and account growth.

Who you are:

  • Highly motivated, self-directed and possess a driven personality capability of working within tight deadlines.
  • You are able and nimble – and can work in a “start-up” like environment embedded within our large Walmart international corporation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Passionate about technology, marketing, market research and consumer insights.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 5+ years of market research experience.
  • 5+ years of customer success and/or client-facing experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and phone communicate skills with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with online data collection tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools highly desirable.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$195,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
